With many customers and new products coming everyday, the empty shelves need to be refilled, the expired products to be removed, and the remaining products to be realigned to look appealing for customers.
The proposed mobile manipulator equipped with a compact hand is able to maneuver inside the shelves transporting lid-closed coffee cups, sandwiches, and the famous Japanese "bento" lunch boxes and "onigiri" rice balls from a container to the shelves and vice versa.
